If you’re clearing out toys your kiddos have outgrown, City Builders would LOVE to give them a second life—especially outdoor play items as we head into warmer weather! ☀️

From ride-ons and slides to sandboxes and water tables, your donations help our little builders learn, move, and imagine every single day. 🩵

It highlights a high need for outdoor toys such as slides, playhouses, ride-on cars, tricycles, sandboxes, water tables, sports equipment, and outdoor play items. It also lists indoor toys like building blocks, sensory materials, puzzles, musical toys, and soft play items. Additional requested items include pretend play toys, dress-up items, and storage bins. A note asks that all donations be clean, safe, and gently used. Contact information for Kaiya is provided for donation drop-off or pick-up.

Be sure to stop by Cottonwood Coffeehouse on Thursday, April 17th for the LHS Forensics Showcase Fundraiser!

Cottonwood will be open during their regular business hours from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with 25% of all proceeds donated to LHS Forensics throughout the day.

Then come back for Pie Night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. featuring:
🥧 Homemade pie & drinks
🎭 Live student performances beginning at 6:30 p.m.
🗣️ Audience participation
🪷 Lotus drinks (sugar-free options available)

This is a wonderful way to support our talented LHS students while enjoying some amazing treats and coffee from a great local business. We hope to see the community come out and show their support! ✨

🚨 Cold Weather Rules Ending Soon! 🚨
As the weather begins to warm up, this is a friendly reminder that the special cold weather provisions will be ending soon. All water and electric balances must be paid in full by the 20th to avoid any interruption in service.
If you need assistance or would like to discuss payment arrangements, please contact our office at 620-355-6252. We are happy to help.
