Cottonwood will be open during their regular business hours from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with 25% of all proceeds donated to LHS Forensics throughout the day.

Then come back for Pie Night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. featuring:

🎭 Live student performances beginning at 6:30 p.m.

As the weather begins to warm up, this is a friendly reminder that the special cold weather provisions will be ending soon. All water and electric balances must be paid in full by the 20th to avoid any interruption in service.

🛠️ Street Crack Sealing Notice | April 6–8, 2026 🛠️

The City of Lakin will be conducting street crack sealing Monday, April 6 through Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

The streets scheduled to be impacted include:

• Mattie St
• Northern Albert Street
• Kingman Ave
• Washington Ave
• Hamilton Street
• Western Street
• Lakin Street
• Eastern Thorpe St

If enough material remains, Kearny Street will also be completed.

Please refer to the highlighted areas on the attached map to see if this may impact your street.

🚗 Important Reminder:
Please have all vehicles, trailers, and any other items removed from the street by 7:00 AM each morning so the crack sealing can be completed properly and without delay.

📌 Residents in the impacted areas will also receive door knockers as an additional notice.
