WATER CONSERVATION AND POLICIES IN LAKIN

Water is a precious resource to any community. For a community water provides more than just something to drink.  In a community setting, water provides fire protection to its residents lowering the cost of home ownership through lower insurance rates.  Municipal water supplies are also regulated by State and Federal laws.  These laws ensure that the water you drink is safe to consume and that you, as a consumer, are provided information as to the content of your water and what actions to take if there is an issue with your drinking water.  A safe drinking water supply is the cornerstone of a community.

Below, we have provided links to give you information about the City of Lakin's water conservation plans, and tips to help you make Lakin beautiful while being mindful of water use.  If you have any suggestions  or need additional help with water conservation please let us know.
