This committee consist of five members.
One of who must reside outside the city limits and within
the three mile zoning area. This board has the power
to hear and decide appeals from decisions regarding the
application of the zoning regulations made by a building
inspector or other official administering the zoning
regulations. This board may also grant variances and
exceptions from the terms of the local zoning regulations
under conditions prescribed by state statutes. This
position in a three year appointment. |

of nine members. Three of who shall be appointed to
represent the City of Lakin, three representing the City of
Deerfield and three to represent Kearny County. This
commission makes recommendations on applications for
annexation, rezoning and subdivisions to insure the orderly
growth and anticipated physical development of the county
area. This position is a three year appointment. |
