Unified School District #215 is accredited by the Kansas
State Board of Education. Our facilities include a grade
school (pre-kindergarten to fourth grades) middle school
(fifth to eighth grades) and high school (ninth to
twelfth grades).
Our
district has a student enrollment of approximately 780
students, maintaining a low teacher/pupil ratio in order
to provide each student with the maximum opportunity to
learn.
Lakin
High School is a 3-A school in the classification system
of the Kansas State High School Activities Association
and offers a comprehensive curriculum in math, science,
language, and social studies plus a complete schedule of
elective offerings in physical education, fine arts,
vocational education technology, and foreign language.
Specialized classes are available through interactive
television and adult education classes are offered by
